Dr. Orsolya Szűcs

I graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine. I spent my residency years in one of Hungary’s most precise and best-equipped clinics, working alongside my tutor, Dr. András Volom. Working with Dr. Volom gave me the opportunity to treat a large number of complex cases and learn the most modern procedures.

After completing my professional exam, my colleague Dr. Vaszilev Kaloján and I opened our own practice in the heart of Újbuda. We designed the practice to suit our own tastes, so I really feel that I can spread my wings and do my job to a high standard here.

In recent years, my attention has increasingly turned to cosmetic dentistry. I am expanding my knowledge in this field by attending many related training courses and practical courses abroad and at home. We have also expanded our equipment and range of services in line with cosmetic dentistry. Here are a few examples, without claiming to be exhaustive, of techniques that I now use routinely: computerized smile evaluation and design (smile design), direct veneer technique using Renamel veneering materials that can be polished to a mirror finish and come in a beautiful, lifelike color palette.

I am a member of the Hungarian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (HAED) and the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD), whose events I attend regularly.

In addition to cosmetic dentistry, my main area of expertise is periodontology. In my opinion, the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease forms the basis of all other dental work. Regenerative gum and bone surgery related to periodontology, as well as microsurgical gum plastic surgery, are performed in the clinic by specialist Dr. Vaszilev Kaloján.

My inner drive is to approach my profession with humility and love, treating people with patience and a desire to help. From my own experience, I know how much kindness and empathy mean in a tense situation. I always treat my patients this way, striving to alleviate their anxiety and fears.
