Our clinic has replaced its previous dental X-ray equipment with the highest quality device currently available on the market. In addition to modern panoramic X-ray and teleradiography, CT is also available at the Újbuda Dental clinic.

What is a 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner?

CBCT Cone Beam Computer Tomography is a three-dimensional digital X-ray imaging technology that allows for highly accurate imaging of the teeth and the entire bone structure of the jaw, all with a very low radiation dose, one hundred times lower than usual.

Thanks to our new NewTom Giano HR Professional Pan/Ceph CBCT device, our clinic now has an even better and more sophisticated diagnostic tool at its disposal for all oral surgery and implantology procedures, as well as other maxillofacial surgical procedures related to these interventions.

We not only help our own patients, but also patients from other excellent clinics in Újbuda and the surrounding districts.

Not all dental clinics have CBCT equipment. In many cases, a more precise image is essential before treatment in order to make a more accurate diagnosis. In such cases, clinics refer their patients to the nearest clinic where these images are made available to their dental colleagues.

Our new device can provide valuable service not only to the 11th district, but also to dental practices in the 12th and 22nd districts, as its proximity to ÚjBuda Dental can save their patients a lot of time.

Brief description of the project

Our company received funding under the tender entitled “Modernization development at NÁDOR DENT Kft.” with the code number VEKOP-1.2.6-20-2020-00323. The project was financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian central budget in the form of a conditionally repayable grant.

As a result of the project, our company installed a Giano HR Professional Pan/Ceph CBCT device in our clinic. The device is capable of displaying even the smallest differences in high quality on the images, while exposing the patient to the lowest possible radiation dose. With its help, diagnosis has been accelerated and treatment plans have become more accurate, to the satisfaction of our patients.

As a result of the implementation of the project, our company’s capacity and productivity have increased.
